MY STORY

My journey into medicine began well before my first classroom experience. Born in India and raised in New Jersey, I was exposed to diverse cultures that fueled my passion for helping others. At the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I majored in Chemistry and Environmental Health Science and minored in Creative Writing, which broadened my perspective. Medical school at Emory University laid a solid foundation, but my residency and chief residency at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles truly shaped my approach to pediatrics. I am drawn to pediatrics for its variety and the joy of connecting with children and their families. Outside of work, I pursue my interests in travel, exercise, and culinary exploration, all while bringing curiosity and compassion into every aspect of my life. My story is one of continuous learning and striving to positively impact every child’s health and well-being.

MY PASSIONS

My passion for pediatrics stems from the unique blend of science, compassion, and human connection that the field offers. I’m deeply inspired by the resilience and honesty of children, and I find great joy in guiding them through their growth and development. Outside of medicine, I’m an avid traveler, always eager to explore new cultures and environments. Staying active is another key part of my life—I enjoy everything from a challenging workout to a peaceful hike in nature. Food is another love of mine, and I’m always on the lookout for new cuisines to try, whether it’s a local delicacy or a dish from halfway around the world. Finally, there’s nothing quite like a relaxing day at home with my partner and our dog, where I can unwind and recharge. These passions fuel my dedication to my patients and enrich my life in countless ways.
